Thanksgiving weekend is always so much fun in my family. Not only do we have Thanksgiving but there’s Jason’s birthday, Black Friday, putting up the Christmas decorations, cooking/baking, being with family….
And this year was no exception. We had Thanksgiving dinner at my sister in laws. We had fun playing with all the kids, playing the Wii and chowing down. This year was the first time Ryan actually got to enjoy the feast.
…and Allie too, though she didn’t really enjoy it. She’s just too darn picky.
The next day was Jason’s 31st Birthday. I made his favorite: Peanut Butter Bars.
We headed back over to my sister in law to eat Thanksgiving leftovers and sing Happy birthday to my now old husband. :)
Who, believe it or not, blew out all 31 of those candles in ONE puff of air. Guess he ain’t so old after all!
I find myself thinking about how much I love this life a lot during this time. I am Thankful for life’s fullness. I am Thankful for my heatlh and that of my family. I have everything to be thankful for.
Especially these three:
They are my life. Hands down.
