St. Patty's Day Decor

Jason got me these fabulous shelves for my dining room for Valentines Day. Even better is that he put them up for me right away. That is a gift in itself, isn't it? I was wondering why he asked me to get him a level for Valentines Day... I know, we get each other weird stuff, but we know what we like :) BTW, I did get him that level ;) Great minds!

As soon as he got them up...actually while he was putting them up... I was already on Pinterest looking for St. Patty's day decor ideas.  I thought I'd just share a few. Also, so I can remember what I did for next year! I decorated more than just the shelves in my house, because once I got those done, I just had to keep going. I love decorating!
I'm actually still in the process of adding more, but it works for now.

I got those flowers from Dollar Tree.
I got a cute vase to go with it but when I was cutting the tags off the flowers, the vase exploded for no reason!
Weirdest thing ever because no one was touching it.
It was on the counter near me, Jason and I were talking and then POP!
It just exploded while sitting there.

Golden candy in an apocrathy jar. I may or may not have empty
and refilled this car with more candy :)

Found this idea on Pinterest and just copied them.  Going to add more
around the house. I think
they are cute and cost nothing to make. I had everything on hand!

Subway art I printed out from a craft site I found through pinterest.
The flowers and bucket came from Dollar Tree.

I made this up. At first I tried to put buttons in the shamrock and
it just looked like a bunch of buttons.
Then I tried to outline it with buttons, but that didn't work either.
This is what I came up with. Eh, it's okay. I like my copied ideas better ;)

Dollar Tree :)
More subway art and flowers out of the back from Dollar Tree.
I already had the spanish moss and vase.

I could not get a decent picture of this for anything tonight...too dark.
Basically it is glass jar filler rocks on scrapbook paper.
I got the jar fillers at Dollar Tree, as well as the frames.
The paper that you can't really see is something I already had.
A little glue gun action and ta-da!
I have plans to put up more, but who knows if I'll get to it before the holiday is over. There is always next year! Time to start pinning Easter ideas!
