I’m the Mom who…

  1. Has the kids closets and drawers organized, and labeled, by style (long sleeved, pants, dresses, shirts, etc…)
  2. Is thinking about organizing by color too.
  3. Get soooo mad at my husband for messing with my system by trying to hang the kids laundry himself. He never does it right.
  4. In all fairness to him, he ends up hanging it all up because I will let it sit in the laundry basket for a week.
  5. chops my kids spaghetti up teeny tiny with my Pampered Chef food chopper.
  6. hates it when it’s my bath night (Jason and I trade days)
  7. uses the naughty corner for discipline.
  8. Is so embarrassed at the doctor/dentist because my kids scream bloody murder out of fear..and I feel sooo helpless, and like a bad mom.
  9. Loves to take my kids to McDonalds.
  10. hovers over my kids at the park. I am so fearful that they will fall off those big jungle gym things.
  11. loves to play Hide n Seek.
  12. thinks about nap time all morning.
  13. thinks slobbery kisses are the best.
  14. thinks the stress of taking the kids on an outing is so worth it. My husband disagrees.
  15. is a ‘mamarazzi’
  16. doesn’t like deleting photos, even bad ones, after taking them until they are on the computer.
  17. doesn’t know what to do about taking the sippy cups away.
  18. dreads that this sweet time of baby/toddlerhood will eventually end.
  19. and at the same time, gets really excited about the fun family things we will get to do when they’re older.
  20. can’t believe Allie will be in Kindergarten in 2 years.
  21. feels immense pride when I talk about my kids accomplishments. I truly think they are above average in brains. I AM a little biased though.
  22. thinks my kids are the cutest! :)
  23. looks at my babies and can’t believe they lived in my body.
  24. loves to see the 2 of them play together.  I hope they will always be best friends.
  25. makes separate dinners for the kids, unless it’s spaghetti night.
  26. used to give the kids a bath every morning AND night.
  27. now just bathes them once a day…at night.
  28. has their favorite shows recorded on the DVR and they watch them over and over and over. One particular episode of Backyardigans (Surfs Up) has been on our DVR for over 3 years.  I’m pretty sure they have watched every single day.
  29. stays up late to do things I want to do, and wakes up early at their demand.  I get about 5 to 6 hours a night and I’m fine.
  30. likes for the kids outfits to match, every little piece.
  31. only wants 2 kids.
  32. has a kids file on my ipod and that’s what we listen too if we are in the car. I will challenge you to a kids song sing off. I dare you.
  33. has child proofed every reachable cabinet for my sanity. They used to take every thing out and it would be every where. Drove me nuts.
  34. gets frustrated and cries with the kids.
  35. loves to throw birthday parties.
  36. takes my kids to the library several times a week when Im off track.
  37. plans on taking the kids to Disneyworld when they are age 6 and 7, Hawaii at ages 7 and 8 and Washington DC/Boston area the summer before Allie starts the 5th grade and Ryan starts 4th (lines up with education studies) We started saving for these trips while preggo with Allie.  Still saving. Not even close :)
  38. loves that my kids have Daddy who is so involved and does just as much as Mommy.
  39. really wants to take my kids to church. Everytime I mention it my hubby says ‘good luck’. *sigh*
  40. loves to snuggle and loves that they love to snuggle.
  41. lets the kids play with their toys in every room.
  42. tries to have activity time every day:  outside play, play doh, puzzles, coloring, etc…
  43. loves to shop with my daughter. We are shopping buddies. I LOVE that.
  44. loves to sing with Allie.
  45. loves to play rough with my son. Chasing him is the best.
  46. loves to have giggle fests with them.  Apparently my laugh is contagious, cause if I laugh really hard they think it’s hysterical and they can’t stop.
  47. says I love you about 2395747859857 times a day.
  48. kisses them just as much
  49. can’t believe how lucky I am.
  50. wants to know what kind of Mom are you?

:)

I actually teared up a little. How depressing that I've only read about your precious little ones in Blogs and never have seen them :( This makes me want to have a chance to be a mom!
