So much stress...so little time...so much still left to do!
And we only have a week and a half until our family of 3 becomes 4 and is complete. Between starting the new school year, making 8 weeks of maternity plans and getting ready for Ryan's arrival I seem to barely have any time to just enjoy living life at a slower pace...cause I certainly am not! and I know it's about to get 10 time more crazy!
First off let me start with the new school year and grade level...Kindergarten! O-M-G! Why didn't I think of this before? I was always afraid of the little ones and thought I needed to be an upper grade teacher. Boy was I ever wrong! I flippin LOVE Kindergarten! I think I have found where I need to stay. It's such a cake walk, I'm telling you. My class is really good and soooo easy to train. They are sweet and thier parents make sure they take baths, they don't smell bad and they always dress so cute!! I couldn't say half of those things about 6th graders, they were just gross...and they (thought they) knew everything about everything. I didn't realize how unhappy I was until I started this gig. Kindergarten: I'm here to stay! It makes me kinda sad though because I have to leave them so soon for 12 weeks!! I really hope I can come back to the same class I left and they aren't ruined by substitiutes...but what can I do, right? I can't prolong my pregnancy and I certainly can't take it back! :)
In other news, in preparation of Ryan's sweet arrival we got a new car! Yup! Connie the Contour is gone...thank goodness! We got a 2008 Honda Accord LX in white. I love it! It's so nice to have air conditioning in my car again! I went an entire month without it! Needless to say, I didn't really leave the house as a result. But now the baby is coming so it needed to happen...
So I have an my final Dr. Appt on Tuesday to discuss the final details for my c section and my birthing plan. I am already scheduled for Wednesday, August 27th at 8 am. Well, I am supposed to be there at 6 am and the surgery is scheduled to start at 8 am...so he should be here very quickly! I have been working very hard at getting his room together. This weekend my project is laundry...there's now so much to be done. There's cutting the tags off EVERYTHING...sorting...then hanging according to size (yeah I'm fully into the nesting stage). I just ordered the bedding. It took me soooo long to decide because I kept changing my mind. We had decided to go ahead and paint the room yellow. Once that happened Jason decided that he thought Jungle theme would be better, but I had already had my heart set on blue and yellow for colors... so we chose trains. lol. Idk, go figure. Makes no sense, but we are happy with what we chose. Now we still have to go buy the stroller, I guess we'll get to that this week. Has anyone ever used one of these? I've never had a boy and keep hearing about how they pee on you...is it necessary????

The weeblockers, or peepee teepees, are neat, but my friend had them and never used them. They just weren't that convenient!
I can't believe you are going to be a mom of 2 soon! I'm so excited!! I still have 5 weeks left of leave before I go back to work, so I'll come visit you and your cute little babies! Just let me know when you are ready for visitors...
GL girlie...I'm sure all will go well!
Oh, and PS....6th graders are the reason I didn't teach! I loved the k-1 kiddos though!
We had weeblockers...Manny used them for awhile, I never did, you can tell when you open the diaper if they have to pee. Sometimes I had to use the diaper as a shield. But I think I only got pee'd on once at bath time. Manny, on the other hand...LOL.
Haha...I just baby sat for a 2 and a 3 year old boy, and I've never seen or heard of those things! Course they're moving into potty training now. And the link to the bedding didn't work! I wanted to see it! And yay for liking the lil ones..they've always been my dream age :) Course I might get into it and change my mind too. Who knows?
good luck tomorrow! i will be thinking of you! post pictures of your lil one once you get settled!
