I went to the doctor today after my fever sparked to 103 last night. I figured that I needed some answers as to why my antibiotic wasn't taking affect after 5 doses. 3 1/2 days of fevers...just didn't seem right to me. My OB told me that my fevers were unrelated to my c section wound. So I went to the extended care and saw my regular doctor. Turns out that I have a sinus infection, bladder infection (both very mild) and the biggest culprit is the c section incision! Whadya know? When I got home from that appointment my fever was almost 104...I've taken motrin and had a nap (both my babies take naps at the same time, lucky me) and my fever broke...hopefully for the last time. Doctor said I should be feeling better within 24 hours of taking the extra antibiotics they gave me. My fingers are crossed, because I am sick of being sick. I'm sick of these yo yo fevers that show back up exactly 4 hours after taking the Motrin.
As for my birthday...thank you all for your well wishes. It means a lot to me. I got every thing I wanted too! My sweet husby got me the Photoshop Elements that I wanted, though I haven't felt well enough to sit at the desk and play with it yet. My parents got me a Cricut machine! OOOO, I was soooo excited! I have been talking about this machine for forever but it was too expensive. Well, my Dad, he's great, and he has connections...that's all I'm gonna say about that! Anyhow, I will wait until I feel a little better before I will be playing with any of it...
