Super Bowl at the Park

Yeah, I know...late, late, late. But I plead the (mom of 2 under ) 2!

Super Bowl Sunday we had a little shin dig, but lets just say 2 of the 10 (that's 20%) of the people invited were actually interested in the game.
*sigh* I try and try to be a good wife, but football just gets tiring for me after a while. I can tell you I was VERY excited for Super Bowl to come simply because it signaled one thing:

The END of Football season!!! (sorry babe)

So it was us and the kids, Jason's mom, his sister and 2 kids, plus Jason's brother and wife plus baby. Jason and his brother watched the game. We ate Juan Pollo all together (delish!) and then the other 80% (the women and children) jetted off, strollers in tow, to the parks and walk ways of our beautiful HOA. What a gorgeous day it was! I had my kids in the side-by-side jogging stroller, then cousin Nathan (who is just a few months older than Ryan) was in his stroller. As soon as we got to the park, Allie wanted nothing to do with the stroller, so I let her roam free. She went straight to the dead leaves on the ground first because as per her ritual, she absolutly cannot not roam a park without said leave in her hand. Every darn picture I have of her is with her leaf! And I had to trick her just to pry it out of her hands when we got home. Anyhow, the trails have a lot of uphills and downhills where Allie had a hard time controlling her legs! It was kind of funny to see, but she was so resistant to getting in the stroller even though you can tell she was sooooo tired of climbing hills! Oh, and yes she slept good that night! Here's a video of her completly and totally ignoring us. You can ignore me too if you's like. :)

Then there was Ryan, who was so chill. He was just glad to be out of the house! Here are some cute pictures of that fun Super Bowl Sunday (oh how I love thee!)

Playing in the leaves

This smile is the only smile I can get a picture of. Never her real smile anymore...
