Committing a blog crime...and then some.

I read blogs religiously.
I don't write them as much.

and I don't know why. Between Blogger, Facebook, Twitter, and checking email...by the time I'm done doing all that I just don't feel like writing a post. I don't feel like waiting for pictures/videos to upload. I don't feel like moving those pictures all over the post (Do they have to make so darn difficult??) to get them just right. I just don't feel like it.

And then comes the guilty feeling of reading all your blogs and not giving you anything to read! Does that sound funny? Does it even make any sense? It's like I'm blog stealing! Yikes!

So I'm praying to the Powers That Be that I will be able to blog more often. Because I really do enjoy it..once it's finished! :)

So here's some Schafer "Whatcha Been Up To?" potpourri for ya:

1. Ryan got a tooth today! Yay! His first one!

2. I'm back at work now (for a few weeks now actually) and thankfully, sans pink slip. Both the hubs and I dodged that bullet, again. If you follow me on Facebook you probably know about how nervous I was. I am hoping noone will have to go through that again next year.

3. I am told I am teaching 1st grade next year. Not too sure how I feel about that because I very much enjoyed Kinder buuuuuut on the plus side, teaching first grade means I get to take this year's class with me. I LOVE this year's class. THIS YEAR is the best year I've ever had. THIS YEAR is the reason I went into teaching.

4. I am in the preparation stages of several parties I am hosting coming up. Let's see, I've got my (first) Tupperware party on the 25th...then Allie's 2nd birthday (!) on May 18th...then Ryan's Baptism on June 27th...then Ryan's 1st birthday on August 27th. Oh man! (Allie's favorite saying) I will be busy.
But I will blog too. But I will blog too. But I will blog too. But I will blog too.
I have to keep telling myself that.

5. I am the most caught I have ever been in my scrapbooking...and personally, I take that very seriously and I am very proud of myself!

6. This Easter will be Ryan's first and Allie's 2nd. I am excited because I am actually going to attempt dying eggs with Alle. Let's hope this doesn't happen. :)

7. I have been following this blog very closely. I am sooooo rooting for little Stellan! Please keep that lil McMuffin and his family in your prayers. Stellan will live!

8. I have become Twitter obsessed. I don't actually tweet per say, I just LOVE reading them. Mainly famous people, so I follow as many as I can. Most entertaining Tweeter: Spencer Pratt. You have to see for yourself. Do you know even Barrack Obama Twitters? Not very often...and not about anything very interesting (to me)...but it is him. Do any of you Twitter? 9. OH! and omg, omg, omg! I forgot to tell you something pretty cool that Ryan did weekend before last. Walked! Well... kinda. He'll walk if you hold both his hands and walk behind him. He'll walk all over! As for crawling, I think he'll go Route A La Allie and just skip it. Now I need to get a video of that to prove that my 7 month old can walk, assisted.

10. I'm joining Weight Watchers in the next couple of weeks. So I think I gotta bulk up. lol. I was gonna do it this weekend but then I thought who is gonna inhale Easter dinner? I better do it. I'll wait til the next weekend to join.

Jason and I were discussing me joining the first time I brought it up:
Me: I'm thinking of joining WW. I hear about how successful it is on people I actually know.
Jason: Well, you know, once you reach your goal you can't just go back to eating like your trying to rid the world of M&M's.
Me: Uh, I didn't become a fatty by eating... no, um, I believe it was those 2 BABIES I had back to back!
