The Cotton Year

Today is our 2nd anniversary of wedded bliss.
2 years and 2 kids. WOW. We've been busy!

We had 2 days of celebration. One on Sunday and then of course, tonight because it's our actual anniversary of our wedding day.

Sunday was our whole day daydate, just the 2 of us. We dropped the babies off at Jasons mom's house and headed to Victoria Gardens where we spent the day shopping, eating at PF Changs (yummy) and saw a movie (Slumdog Millionaire).

♥ At PF Changs ♥

♥ We have had this champagne since our wedding day buuut since I was preggo that day AND the first year anniversary, we didn't get to drink it until this year. ♥

♥ So this 2nd anniversary is supposed to be 'cotton' and we agreed a couple of days ago to always follow these rules, just because it seems fun. This is what my husby wrapped up for me.
cotton balls.
in a Claim Jumper box.

hahahahahhahahaha.
He thinks he's funny.
His reaction? 'I followed the rules!'
Stinker.

And this is what I got him:
♥ A Dodgers hat and a sweat shirt (made of 80% cotton:))

♥ oh and he made up for it:
♥ $100 dollars in Kohl's cash was at the bottom of the cotton balls. ♥
...and just when you were about to write him off as a horrible gift giver. :)

...and of course, he brought home flowers. ♥

2 years down... a life time to go! ♥

Hi Amanda, Thanks for the comment! I've also read your blog, through Katie. I totally remember you from school!! How funny that our anniversaries are only 5 days apart and our little girls are so close in age! You babies are TOO CUTE! Allie looks like such a fun girl! I love reading about all the things she can do! And Ryan looks like a total sweetheart... mama's boy I'm sure!
