Do you remember this shirt?
(Yes, I realize it's backwards, I was in a hurry and used the web camera, I don't know why it takes mirror images.)

I think we got it at a retreat or something...Anyway, it used to be ridiculously big on me back in the skinny days so I never wore it. Now that I've had children and put on a few pounds... or 50...lol... I fit into it. I wear it to bed occasionally, or just to lounge around the house.
Today was a lounging around the house sort of day.
My little legacy, for the very first time, notices the shirt that I've worn a thousand times. She walks right over to me and points to the Alpha and says, 'A'. (not surprising, she knows all her letters via the refrigerator magnets.) and I say, 'Yes, that's right, that's an A'. Then she points out the Phi and says, in her cutest voice, 'what's that?' and I tell her, 'Phi'. (pronounced fee)
Yes, my sisters... now my daughter points at my shirt and says, 'A - Phi'.
I just thought that was too adorable not to share.
Allie can already read greek.
A legacy and a genius. Whatdya think of them apples? :)

Wanna hear something funny? I am wearing that exact shirt tonight! I have been wearing it to bed since mine is huge too and can fit my prego belly!! Too funny!!!
Too cute!
I think so..a little legacy on our hands. Now we must find her the best APhi chapter to join!! My shirt is on a quilt that Jenn made me with all of my shirts...but I'm sure mine doesn't fit either! lol
I don't know about the whole sorority thing ;) But that is too cute <3
yay for the lil legacies! that is too cute! and about the celery, I would clean them, cut them in about 4-5 in pieces and pull out as many stringie things as i could before freezing them. also, leave them out on the counter for a day or so to "dry out" a little before freezing them, that way they have less water in them and don't turn into a watery mess as they defrost. I never had a problem with Noah choking because he didn't really eat them, he just chewed it to death. literary, your house will be covered with little limp gooey pieces of celery. but it works!
Lovin it!
I'm sure I have that shirt in a box somewhere. I was going through my big container of pictures the other day and came across some pictures from our bid day and some of the other gatherings we had. Brought back so many great memories!! There's not many legacies in our group, everyone's having boys. Ally will make us all proud. :)
