Ok, something more recent :) Christmas Eve. I didn't take the camera out a whole lot because we were do busy. That is something I have to change in the new year for sure. Mental note: Must take the camera out more often.
Our first event Christmas Eve morning was going to breakfast at my sister in laws house. We always go in our jammies. She lives about 60 seconds away so that makes it even easier. She made her traditional farmers omelet, monkey bread and we had lots of mimosas. Yum! The kids also got to open the 'first gift of Christmas' too. Such an exciting morning to start off the Christmas traditions.
Once that was over, we quickly headed home so I could get Allie's hair in curlers (the sponge kind) and they would have time to work. At 3:00, we headed to my mother in laws house for Christmas with her. This is sadly the only time my camera came out on Christmas eve. :(
My sweet little family <3
All the grandchildren :)
Oh Ryan!
This is Ryan sick of smiling.
Hug your sister! Except...face this way. *sigh*
After presents and eating a fabulous lunch, Jason and I packed up the car and the kids, dropped our load of toys off at home, and headed to Fontana for Christmas with my aunts, uncles, and cousins. We loaded the car with EVEN MORE gifts, put the kids in their jammies and headed home. When we got home all we had to do was set out Santa's cookies and milk, a carrot for Rudolph and kiss Jingle, the magic elf, good bye.
Once the kids went to bed, Jason and I stayed up until nearly 3 am assembling their big Christmas gifts. But that's another post!
