Patching

So rewind a little to Fall. More specifically, the Pumpkin Patch.  I am forever a Summer girl, but once its over, I get really excited about the Fall season and what it has in store.  LOTS of opportunities to make memories :) One place we visit every year is the Live Oak Pumpkin patch in Yuciapa. To locals, this is a Fall staple. We spent about an hour and a half here, then went to Baker's for lunch and headed home. This was also the first time that strollers, diaper bags or anything babyish was NOT required like other years. It feels good to be 'free' of that stuff- a definite plus of babies growing up :)

Jason really wanted a picture of him and Allie to hang in his classroom. Allie just could not stand the sun in her eyes long enough to smile. Oh well.

Allie and Ry had the BEST time bouncing from pumpkin to pumpkin asking "Are you the great pumpkin? Nope!" over and over again.  I have so many pictures of them doing this, but only posted one :)

This is what Jason and I did while the kids were playing in the pumpkins. Since they wanted literally nothing to do with us, we had some fun of our own, haha. I'm married to such a goof. We's like peas and carrots :)

Jason likes to call this one 'patching'. You know, like, instead of 'planking', he's 'patching'?? Get it? Get it? aha. And if you know him, it is his profile picture on FB. He's so proud of it.

We tried out every single one of these wooden signs.  It also turned out we knew the woman who painted them all too. She was there selling her little art projects too.

When we first got there, we ran straight of the hay stacks.  The light was so pretty at that time. I really like the pictures I got. Once the hay started flying in the air and getting in hair and eyes, we had to move on.
