Finger Painting

My poor little blog :( It hardly ever gets a post, so sad. My New Years resolution is to start posting on it. Baby steps though, I am shooting for at least once a month. I think it will actually be attainable if I take small steps. For this post, I am taking you back about a month to just after Thanksgiving.  The magic elf had just been introduced and this is what he did on his first night in our home. He went a little crazy with the green painting tape I think.

I found this idea on Pinterest and thought it looked so fun. On Black Friday, I found canvas' on sale at Michael's for about $5. I already had the painters tape and the finger paint.

This is what the note said when they found it the next morning:

Getting started. Boy, did they have fun. And it was MESSY! They both only chose 2 colors at first which was pretty much perfect....until stupid me offered a 3rd color and things started turning brown. yick!

See the bottom of Ry's canvas has a big brown spot where he tried to add orange.  I had to stop him before it was ruined.

Once the tape was peeled off it looked pretty awesome. They are now hanging in their rooms!
