Ryan
1. Ry has a serious obsession for this movie:The kid watches it every.single.day. and can act out all the parts. Its beyond cute. It is the first movie that he actually sits all the way through from beginning to end. I have seen it so many times that I often find myself quoting it through out the day.
2. Is it nuts that this kid would rather go to this place rather than a toy store??? He would. He asks his Daddy to take him to Lowes on weekends and they just walk around that store for about an hour looking at lawn mowers, tools, power tools...you name it. He is obsessed with tools. He can name every kind of pliers, screw drivers and many other tools. I even took him with me when I was filling up Jason's stocking for Christmas so he could tell me what Daddy did not have in his tool box.
3. My Ipod Touch. I have to really regulate this because he wants to play with it all day long. We were going to get them both those Leap Pads for Christmas but changed our minds and got them a tool bench and a kitchen set instead. I am really kind of regretting that decision, but there is always birthdays. He really likes to play Angry Birds, Peek A Boo Barn, Team Oomi Zoomi, Doodle Buddy and some alphabet games I have.
Allison
1.
Apple juice. No joke. Allie is obsessed with apple juice. It is the
only thing in this world she will drink. I pray every night to the
Powers That Be that she will get over this little obsession before
Kindergarten, but its hard to believe that it will ever end.2. Take & Toss straw cups. The only thing she will drink her juice in. Lord help me, I want this stupid stage to pass! Ugh. She will drink out of nothing else. To make matters worse, she is even particular about the color. Pink.
3. Easy Bake Ultimate Oven app. If you have a little girl, then this FREE app is a must. Heck, even my son likes to play it. It lets you make cupcakes from mixing up the ingredients all the way to the eating part! Allie could decorate and 'serve' me cupcakes all day if I let her. I can't explain this fun lil app in words, just check it out for yourself.
Jason
1. Tim Tebow. Who doesn't know this guy? And if you don't, you've been living under a rock. Jason loves everything about the Tebow mania. He's even taught Allie how to 'Tebow'. Cutest thing ever. I am not a football fan really, I might watch here and there to appease my husband, but I have to admit he is a pretty exciting player to watch. And I love that people are jumping on his bandwagon because he seems to be a positive, uplifting person. Why not jump on the this guys bandwagon, ya know?!2. Oh this video game that has stolen my husband (and my DVR) away from me night, after night, after night. Ohhhh...you. That's all I have to say about this game. bleh.
3. Dexter. This may count on my obsession list, since we both love it so much. Ahhh, I can't wait to find out what Deb does now that she knows her brother is a murderer. Why do we have to wait sooooo long between seasons?!?
Me
My list is much longer because, well, I know ME better. It's easier to think of my own obsessions more than anyone elses. It just is.1. Starbucks- how I love thee. We buy it by the case, my husband and I. We can't go a morning without it or we will have terrible headaches and are all grumpy all day. It's an expensive habit to keep up because we can drink this case in 3 days between the 2 of us. With all the pay cuts, we may just be forced to quit :( Sad day.
2. Park Lane- My new little business venture. It's a direct sales company that sells jewelry. I have been fairly successful with it but I'm still new at it. I'm kinda still trying to get it off the ground. I have done a few parties- some even bunco style where we get together a group of girls, play bunco and shop for jewelry. Always a good time! I really love their jewelry and the extra money I make is being put towards 'fun' stuff we can do together as a family. I earned one trip so far :) We are heading to Palm Springs this summer for a free trip courtesy of Park Lane.
3.Pinterest - What can I say about this that would be enough??? omg, I LOVE it! I can't get enough. Sometimes I think my husband thinks he needs to pry me away from this site. I get these ideas in my head from this site and I MUST accomplish them immediately or I can't stop thinking/talking about it. I see it as a good thing because I actually get a lot of things I pin done. Some may not see it quite that way..
4. grocery IQ app - Have you seen this thing?! I freaking love this app and I don't know how I ever shopped without it. I am a list maker, I always have and always will be. If I don't make my lists, my ideas get all jumbled in my head and they seem to never stop running through. It's exhausting. My lists keep me sane. You can also find my old lists pretty much everywhere; my pockets, my purse, my closet, kitchen junk drawers, my car, etc... I could go on. And the more detailed and organized the list, the better. This app lets me organize the aisles in the store so I only have to go down the aisles where I need something (unless I am shopping kid-less, then I go down EVERY single aisle :)). It also stores items from past lists and their prices so it is super easy to find for next trip. It also has a bar code scan feature that lets you find items faster. Oh, and coupons! It lets you know if an item on your list has a coupon to use. I shop every weekend for the whole week and I always know how much my bill will be before I even get to the store. LOVE this app!
5. Just Dance 1, 2, and 3 - For the Wii of course, until the hubs gets me a Kinnect for HIS Xbox, but I think he may just be doing that on purpose to keep me off of it...and I can't say that I blame him. I have a habit of taking over any new 'technology' in the house. What can I say? :) I try really hard to play one of these games for at least an hour every other night as my form of exercise. It really works up a sweat, that's for sure! Did you know 4.2 sweat points is = to 1 calorie. I can easily do 2500-3500 sweat points in a session. That about 600- 800 calories or more! I love that! And it's too much fun too!
6. The Tudors - So, I know this show ended forever ago, but when we got a Netflix subscription last year is when I discovered it. omg, HOOKED! I have now watched all 4 seasons now several times over. When do I watch it? Late at night...while I craft usually. I am totally obsessed with all things from this era...or even this country. I love reading about Britians royals, past and present (love me some Kate :)) If you have Netflix, or any other chance to watch this show, I highly recommend it.
