Soooo went to the doctor yesterday and had our 4th ultrasound to find out the sex of our baby and guess what? We still don't know.... and it's supposed to get harder and harder as the months pass to be able to tell. The baby was breach this time (it has flipped over completly everytime I go to an appointment, last itme in was upside down and the time before that it was breach) and sitting so low that my bones were in the way of seeing the goods. Then it shifted a little and was sitting on the placenta with its legs straight and closed. We saw a faint outline of a 'bulge' but that was through my bone, placenta and the meaty parts of the baby's thighs....He tried for about 20 minutes and said I was the 1st one all day that he wasn't able to see. He even was able to tell the sex of a 16 week pregnancy that day which is pretty rare! But no...not me...I was so bummed, I thought for sure we'd get to find out. But here I am at almost 28 weeks, as big as a house and don't know....I do know that it seems healthy and it's not little! hehe! I'm very happy about that, of course! I do worry that this is a foreshadowing of a never sleeping baby...Is that bad?
I have a pretty strong feeling that it's a boy, only because again we saw what appeared to be a boy and I asked the doctor if there was anything there to think girl and he said no. Nothing suggests girl. So he said he's 90% sure it's a boy and I'm 90% sure I won't know until it comes out of me! *sigh* I guess because I got to 'skip' the 1st trimester, this is my payment...
P.S. I am going to be a kindergarten teacher next year! I got to have the choice between 1st and kinder and I chose kinder!!! Woot! It'll be a cakewalk compared to 6th grade because I get rid of them after 3 hours. I'm trading attitudes and hormones for crying and boogers, I know that, but it seems so much less stressful....

Man!! What a little stinker he/she is!! I am anxiously waiting to hear what you are having!! Yaaa for teaching kinder! What a fun age!
Yay for teaching kindergarten...boo for an uncooperative baby. Doesn't he/she know that there are people out here bursting at the seams waiting to know!! It MUST be a boy. If it is, let me know if you are interested in some clothes, I have a bag FULL of stuff that doesn't fit my little chubbs anymore. :) Most of it only worn once or twice. (Sigh..)
I'm glad things are going well for you and bummed that we still don't know the sex of the baby! I guess if you've waited this long, you can hang in there, right?
Bummer! I'm sorry lil!!!
I can't wait until you have him/her then, so we know!
Congrats on kinder. That's the age I loved!!!
