Life is Just a Chair of Bowlies...

...as Mary Englebreit would say.

I know. I know.
I did it again.
I went all M.I.A. on you and some of you were worried.

I'm sorry....
and I'm back.

My life is just crazy busy, you know? I wish all of the time that I was just a SAHM. I could be great at it, but it's that or a house and I know my kids need the house.

All the time! All the time, I tell myself, "Amanda, blog about that." and every night I go to read all of your blogs and then I'm too tired to write my own. Since my Christmas, excuse me, let be all P.C., winter break is just about to begin (I have to work on Monday and half day Tuesday, isn't that the silliest thing you every heard???) myabe, just maybe I'll find a little extra time to blog.

Now for the updates:

Husband.
Jason is doing well. Much better. We officially know that now. His test results all came backfine and is seems the man has severe migraines that have very strange beginning effects, like total body numbness. Pretty scary for him, but lucky for us because now we know he's gonna be just fine.
Thank the Lord!

Allie.
19 months old now. I think I will just resort to saying a year and a half, then 2, then 2 1/2 ....you get it. Just getting over her very first ear infection. I can't believe I escaped a year and half without a single ear infection outta her. Now you mom's out there know, that's quite a feat. Anyhow, I cut her some bangs about 2 weeks ago. She looks so cute now I wanna cry! I didn't want to do it at first because I thought I would mess them up and make her look funny. Either it's just not possible for her to look funny or I'm not to shabby (no pun intended) with the scissors. It got to the point where the poor girl couldn't see through her hair in the morning. she looked like a sheep dog! hehe...

Ryan.
My lil son is getting so big! He's got his very first cold now, thanks to me, but he's a trooper! He's such a good sleeper (knock on wood) and he seems to be staying that way. Tonight is his first night alone in the big crib in his own room. It seems to be going well, but we'll see! Up until tonight he had been sleeping in his bassinet in our room next to me. I wanted to keep him there til 4 months old (on the 27th!) but he couldn't make it. Poor lil guy kept ramming his head into the top of the bassinet and waking himself up. Then his long legs were touching the other end. And wouldn't you know it? I give him this HUGE bed (to him it's huge, compared to what he was sleeping in) to stretch out in and I go to check on him.... he's got his head all jammed up in the top corner of the bed!
Men...

Me.
Aside from wishing I was a SAHM, I am loving my lil kinders. Best grade ever, I tell ya. The job is a cake walk. The best part: Calling on kids when they raise thier hand and they realize they don't know the answer so they say, "Teacher, I love you!". Aw! What's not so "Aw!" though is getting the sickies. I had one kid hack on me and I was sick a week in half back to work from my maternity leave. Had to call in sick and everything. I had a 103 fever, chills, aches...went to the doctor and have bronchitis, throat infection and beginnings of an ear infection...then I gave it to my kids. Great.
Still trying to lose the baby weight but I'm kinda at a stand still with all the holiday baking and all. I just can't resist. oh well. 'Tis the season, right?
Jason and I have made a pact to get serious with the new year to be healthy and fit to keep up with our kids. Once Ryan is mobile...phew...God help us.

{no good pictures of me...sorry}

My Dad's work has thrown a Christmas party for all the kids for as long as I can remember. We went last year:

And here's pictures from this year:

So that's it! I'm okay, guys! Thanks for worrying, you made me feel special! :)
