In my family, it is tradition to have the godparents dress the baby before the main event. Speaking of godparents, we chose Jason’s sister (Ryan’s aunt) for the godmother and my dad (Ryan’s grandpa) for the godfather.

The actual baptism and anointing of the catechumen.

The lighting of the candle by the godparents and passing the candle to the parents.

Our whole family! A lot missing though… with they could have been there.

Have you ever seen such a cutie? Have you ever seen such a cutie in a white suit and bare foot… and still adorable???? Not until today you haven’t! :) Grandma is holding him up…

Party time!!!!!

We tried really hard to get pictures of the two suddenly best friends… this is as good as it gets.

Then…

Then we tried to get a family picture and ayayayayay….This is the best of the bunch. I think.

Up next tomorrow: Potty training in less than a day. I am sending Daddy and Ryan out of the house for the day so Allie and I can focus solely on learning the potty using an effective method used my sister in law. Well, it’s a book and a method. We’ve been waiting for this day for a while and done a lot to lead up to it. We’ll see how successful it is!
