Ok, I realize how late this is but I gotta catch up. I was so busy after Father’s Day weekend with the last week of school and the Baptism. It seemed like I couldn’t get anything done. And now that I have settled into a ‘vacation groove’ I feel I can catch up on posts. There might be post overload in the next few days! haha…
Anyhow, Father’s Day was such a nice day. We spent the morning with my Dad as well as my sisters and brothers. We took him to Las Fuentes for Sunday brunch! Yum Yum! I wish I had pictures of this part buuuuttt…I don’t. (Sorry Dave!)
Later in the evening we went to Jason’s mom’s house. She made a deeeeeeeeee-licous! meal. It tried and tried to get a picture of Jason and both kids but they just weren’t having it. I did get pictures of the 2 kids together and when I tried to have Daddy hop in the photo, one of them would jet. lol.
oh well!
I want to travel down memory lane just a bit…
Father’s Day 2007 – His very first Father’s Day. Allie is barely a month old here. We had gotten Daddy a hammock and a Brady Quinn jersey.
Father's Day 2008 – The only picture I have of that day. I don’t know why we didn’t take more. Allie had just turned 1 a month before. I am preggo with Ryan.
Father’s Day 2009—Daddy has 2 kids now! This is his first Father’s Day as a daddy of 2.
This amazing man…this amazing father is my dream come true.
He adores his kids, they are his world.
This is a man who swore he would never have kids (until he met me :)) and now this is a man who couldn’t live without them.
This is a man who still brings updated pictures of the kids to hang up at work ( on a regular basis) long after all of the other babies pictures have been taken down. He likes to show off his babies…he’s so proud of them.
This is a man who makes sure to play with his kids in each of their favorite individual activities every single day. I mean every. single. day.
This is a man who feels the need to rouse his children out of sleep in the morning just so he can say “Good Morning” and “I love you” when he is off to work. I am not sure if I like that because he takes away my (very slim) chances of sleeping in, but it makes him happy. He doesn’t like going the whole day without seeing them.
This is a man who is a hands on Dad, my team mate. He helps me with everything!
Allie is his princess and she looks at him like he is master of the universe. She loves her Daddy and her Daddy loves her.
When Ryan came along, he wasn’t sure how to be a father to a son, but he caught on quickly and now Ryan has become his best pal. His buddy. Daddy calls him “son” as if that were is name.
I love that man.

Awww, Amanda. This almost made me cry. (I've been weepy this week). Having gone to school with J, he always came across as such a good guy. It's no surprise that he makes such a wonderful dad and husband. It's so special to see how well he is doing with Allie and Ryan. God bless your precious family, girl.
