Kane Joseph

If you follow me on Facebook then you know that last week I asked you all to pray for my sweet cousin and her family. On Friday, October 15th, my cousin's water broke 4 weeks early and Kane Joseph was born. At 4lbs. 13 oz he is just a precious baby boy. While his parents are very happy, the occasion is bitter sweet. You see, they knew early on that Kane would be born with a diaphragmatic hernia. The hernia caused Kane's organs, specifically one lung, stomach and part of his intestine to grow in places they were not supposed to (his chest cavity). Essentially, the hernia is taking up the space where these organs would have developed. He is getting the up most treament and care but his condition is minute to minute and he still needs lots of prayers. A friend of his parents started a blog to update everyone on his condition and improvements. Please join me in following Kane's journey and praying for this sweet little boy whom I have no doubt will come through this healthy and STRONG :)
